Some friendships never end. They wait.

Jennifer once ran a small café in tropical Queensland, where a warm, gentle woman named Monique walked in one day and never left. Now Monique is dead, her name dragged through every headline, and Jennifer was the only person who came to say goodbye.

Then a woman in black starts appearing at Monique's grave. She never speaks. She never moves. And Jennifer cannot shake the feeling that her stillness is more dangerous than grief.

When Jennifer finally finds the courage to approach her, she steps into a game she never agreed to play. Jane has been waiting a very long time. And she keeps calling Jennifer by the wrong name.

Gold envelopes. Unsettling visits. A mansion on the hill that has swallowed secrets, money and lives. And a betrayal so old that the woman who committed it forgot, while the woman who suffered it never did.

Passionate Poison: Fractures That Begin to Surface is a gripping psychological thriller of obsession, toxic friendship and revenge, where nobody is who they seem and the past reaches further than anyone dares to imagine.

Perfect for readers of domestic suspense, unreliable characters and slow-building dread, with a twist you will not see coming.

Hello, I'm Linine Langley (Lyneen), author of the book series: "Passionate Poison".

My story began in Evandale, Tasmania where I attended Kings Meadows High School, later earning a Psychology diploma in 1996.

For years, I dedicated myself to spinal care nursing, but health challenges in 2024 led me to embrace my true calling: Dark Romantic Suspense and Psychological Thrillers. I’m now deep in the shadows, crafting the Passionate Poison!
