What would you do if you found out you had one day left to live?

DANNY, a timid accountant, is visited by DEATH - a soft-hearted goofball in a Hawaiian shirt - who gives Danny one last day to find the missing happiness and meaning in his life. Paralyzed by indecision, Danny's last day is hijacked by his offbeat flatmate TOMMO, who leads him on a disastrous adventure-filled day of mishaps and misfires.

But will Danny have time to right the wrongs in his life and find the happiness that has eluded him for so long?

THE HAPPY ENDING is an uplifting comedy that urges us to enjoy life now… not wait for a tomorrow that might not come.

Written as a MOVIE SCREENPLAY, The Happy Ending is a quick but satisfying two-hour read!

About The Author

Gary Lonesborough.png

Christopher Keenan writes books that entertain, that make people laugh and take them to a happy place - to another world or another life, if just for a few hours.

But his books also have heart, have something to say, and hopefully inspire. Christopher's first book, The Happy Ending, tells the story of a young man named Danny who is visited by Death - a soft-hearted goofball in a Hawaiian shirt - who gives Danny one last day to find the missing happiness and meaning in his life: a journey full of mishaps and misfires thanks to his quirky flatmate Tommo.

Having studied scriptwriting in Los Angeles, Christopher is a writer of movie screenplays that pack the same emotional punch as a full-length novel but only take a few hours to read.

When not writing, Christopher enjoys storytelling in all its forms, whether movies, books or music.
