In the 16th century Ottoman Empire, a young boy named Rade is taken from his family to become Mehmet, a janissary. This story is about betrayal, redemption, and the strong human spirit.

Mehmet moves from a peaceful village in Bosnia to the Ottoman court. He climbs the ranks, facing inner struggles and a deep longing for his family.

He forms a secret bond with Zehra, the Sultan's daughter, amidst war and politics. Their love faces huge challenges, leading to a daring escape and a return to his roots. Back in Bosnia, Rade joins his brother Mladen and the resistance against the Ottomans. He meets Ana, who becomes his love and ally. Together, they fight for their homeland and people.

Warrior of the Crescent Moon is rich in history and emotion. It tells of the sacrifices of boys turned janissaries. It's a story of love, loss, and the fight for freedom.

For readers who love the emotional power of Kristin Hannah, the historical intensity of Ken Follett, the poignant storytelling of Heather Morris, and the sweeping drama of Philippa Gregory—this book will stay with you long after the last page.
