Social issues novels include ‘Fake IDʼ screen optioned and translated into Tamil. 


Quirky memoir ‘Not Just a Piece 0f Cake; Being an Author” is being translated. 


With books translated into ten languages, Hazel is adapting earlier books for screen and stage. 


Her Australian Antarctic expeditioner experience helped YA novels 'Wasted? plus 'Antarcticaʼs Frozen Chosen'. 


Innovative projects include ‘Go! Go! Gecko’ a birthday gift for Darwin grandsons, but later AI illustrations, not photos to protect her young family online. 


She mentors gifted and adult students who call themselves Hazelnuts when they have finished. 


Her bad hobby is reading in the bath.
